The Play It Forward group gathered 100 toys for the children of the indigenous group called the Batak Tribe of Palawan, Philippines.  Batak are one of about 140 indigenous peoples of the Philippines. They are located in the northeastern portions of Palawan and there are only about 450 Batak remaining according to a 1990 census. Their people are still half naked up to this day.

 

This was Play It Forward’s first official distribution which took place on October 16, 2019, and it was completed through the help of Dr. Luisa Puyat and her team from ABS-CBN DZMM TLC.
